PERSONALITY the best word to describe celia? crazy. her way of thinking is very random and sporadic, you never know what will really come out of her mouth next. but she's more along the lines of a FUN crazy, the grandma that force fed you strange potions to help with digestion (did you even have issues in the first place?) or stayed up all night reading about different plants and their properties, but still had good grandma candy. if you can handle the occasional whispers to herself, you'll find her a very interesting and intelligent person. [break][break]
celia is more of a loner, preferring her own company over others. she will entertain guests, but is quick to usher them out of her space. she's very friendly, but overstay your welcome, and she will give you the boot quicker than a bat out of hell. if you come to her with pain, she will dote over you like she's your mother. she doesn't use traditional medicines, either. she prefers a more spiritual and holistic path. [break][break]
celia is not the type of person to trifle with. she has no qualms about hurting a person - who is going to enforce rules on PE anyways? she demands respect (take your shoes off at the door) and is very traditional in her ways. [break][break]
HISTORY celia has lived a very interesting life. maybe that's why she's so charming? she grew up in rural colorado. her mother was a biologist, and her father a botanist. so even from the very beginning, she learned about plants and the genetic make up of living beings. this knowledge shaped who she would become later in life. [break][break]
celia was a in her early 20s when she was off to college, pursuing a nursing degree, when she met her spirit mentor. at least that was what she called herself. a crotchety old lady name spik, with crazy eyes and bright pink hair. celia visited with her whenever she had down time. which wasn't very often. [break][break]
celia enjoyed helping people, and spik taught her all sorts of ways of doing so. not all were physical. some of the worst ailments people had, were those of the mind. they would spend days, weeks even, trying different plants and chemicals. it was almost like they were creating magic. celia gained a deeper understanding of people, the world around her, and her work. [break][break]
she could sew together a lethal wound without batting and eye, and at the same time, prepare a hallucinogenic tea to give a patient suffering from withdrawals. celia was also very cautious - knowing damn well the earth wasn't going to last forever. if you live life like you're never going to die, you ruin everything life was meant to be. she prepped day and night, and was wholly prepared to evacuate when the time came.
