Talwyn was watching the video, her eyes studying every aspect of it and when Colette told her it was magic, she frowned ever so slightly. Magic did not exist, of course, she would let Colette believe it was magic if it made her happy. Who was she to burst the healers bubble? Wait. What was Colette saying? Classical music? What was that? What was the difference? Her brows furrowed together as she tried to focus on what the girl was saying as she mentioned Keyboards. Keyboards was not something she had heard of, but she instantly just assumed it was like a piano or another word for Piano.
Then. Then she said ‘fusion stuff’ and started making up words that just did not cross to the girls brain. What was fusion music? Absolute confusion caused her brows to come together, and her lower lip to get bit on by her teeth. Talwyn grew up with only classical music, and the distinction did not cross her mind that it was really old. She had no idea. Her father had always talked to her as if it was the present time, but boy would she be surprised when she learned the truth! JS Bach was not prancing around in this day and age, and definitely not on the planet they were currently on.
”I play violin.” was her single response when the girl had finished rambling, trying to rap her head around everything Colette had said. Talwyn suddenly felt like she was trying to play catch up, and it caught her off guard as she wasn't quite used to communicating with others unless it was on her terms. The girl was trying to be her friend, which Wyn really was favoring over the whole ‘I’m going to figure out what makes your brain tick’ tone of voice she had previously. ”May I ask, please, but what…What is fusion music? What is..” She paused as if trying to think of the appropriate words that Colette had used. ”And..What is Zanti misfits or, keyboard or that word..what is that word..Montreal?” The obvious confusion on the simplistic thing was apparent on her face, as curious eyes looked up at her acquaintance.
I hear voices, voices in my mind
Voices from the past that always seem to find
Voices from the past that always seem to find
"You need to go forward. You heard. You need to hide. Cover. Go. You need to—"
