Farrah Benz
Annía took hold of the pieces of meat thrust upon her, not even flinching as the bloody mess now covering her. OK not a whole lot of blood as most of that had been drained but there was still plenty.
Annía watched in silence as Farrah worked on starting the fire, realizing that while functional she should have worked on getting some drier pieces so that they would have lit easier. “Sorry, it’s not something I do often.” Or like ever. But she would learn in time. Also it wasn’t like it wasn’t actually functional. Something that Farrah even proved as she finally got a piece to catch fire. “Nice.” She couldn’t help but feeling just a little pride at seeing the fire lit. But just a little, she knew that Farrah had done most of the work with it.
“Really?” She hadn’t been that lucky. Though she had gone a different route. One that certainly had it’s advantages. “I learned about animals, how they work, how to categorize them. That’s what I do here actually. Help identify them in terms people already understand. Help people know what ones will act similar to deer or a wolf pack. What ones may be good as farming herds or house pets. That’s what I learned about back on Earth. Now I actually put it in practice.”
It wasn’t an exact thing but she was certainly getting better. She knew at least that some of the hunters had found her information valuable. If nothing else then helping with grazing patterns.
I WANNA TRY EVERYTHING
I wanna try even though I could fail
