PERSONALITY If you're searching for a girl you can't trust as far as you can throw and can't believe a single word she says, look no further. Farrah's childhood was.. troublesome. She was bullied in elementary school, so as she grew she became determined to flip the tables. By the time she hit eighth grade, however, she had taken it too far: partially blinding a boy that had made a pass (she thought) at her, Farrah was expelled and committed to juvenile detention. Perhaps if she'd been "treated" in a different way she could have grown up to be a normal teen and adult, but placing her among peers of equal ferocity only fueled the fire.
Her parents, convinced that a demon had possessed their child, became terrified of Farrah's propensity to maim at the slightest upset and refused to visit her. This only caused her to become closer to the wicked kids at juvie, and together they plotted revolt. One boy in particular caught her attention - he called himself Rex, though Farrah was 99% certain that wasn't his actual name, and he dubbed her Mercedes. They were the best of friends and did everything together, so when it came time for their master escape plan and Rex didn't show at their designated rendezvous point, she knew something had gone wrong.
She stuck around the institute for a few days, barely a step ahead of the surveillance crews out looking for her, hoping Rex would show. She stayed just long enough to see him, dressed all prim and proper, being escorted to a very upscale car that had probably been sent by his parents (but not actually driven by them - they were far above that). Enraged, she burnt the institute down and took off.
She wandered for years, never staying in one place long. She worked some roofing jobs to earn money, leaving when the job was done, and "officially" changed her name via some fake-ID service offered by girl several years Farrah's junior. Despite her mixed feelings about Rex, she still kept the nickname he'd given her. At one point she joined a biker gang, though she was kicked out when she wrecked a bike that had been loaned to her and wasn't able to pay the man back.
All in all, Farrah learned to fend for herself. She cheated the system more times than she could count, and survived only by caring for one person: herself. She never let anyone close enough to even consider a romantic relationship (let alone a relationship of any kind), but discovered the power of her sexuality as she grew. Now on the wrong side of twenty-five, she is well-versed in using herself in just the right way to get what she wants, and thanks to roaming alone or with a group of less-than-trustworthy individuals, she's also become a lethal force if need be (though she prefers not to take it that far).
