I swear,
I am a ninja
The heat was blazing, and everything about him felt absolutely disgusting. Imagine a cold, running river..Or waterfall. How amazing that would be. For months on patrol he would dream of water, and it was no different here. When would this ridiculous heat ever die down? Wiping a hand over his face to clear away the roughness, he noted that Riley had already disappeared.
Logan pushed himself up agains the cave wall, his eyes scanning the area in actual light before glancing towards the exit where the sunlight was visible. Taking out a stone from his pocket, and his best friend, he began to slowly begin sharpening it. What else was there to do right then? Grogginess was not something he was used too, always alert. Always prepared. But. He was fucking done with this world. Everything about it was starting to wear him down.
‘are you fucking kidding me?’ – Seemed to ring out in the cave and Logan couldn’t help the laugh that barked from him. What famous bedside manner. The girl was ridiculous, and actually quite amusing, especially when she stalked in and immediately lit up a cigarette. He didn’t bother questioning how some guy got to the cave, but it was probably some form of connection. Perhaps helpful for the colonists. ”Goodmorning sunshine.” He murmured, quietly as he glanced up from her before his eyes went back to the sharpening.
He really should have thought about the whole sleeping in her cave thing. With now being stuck there, and with majority of his things gone. At least they were buried, so it should still be there when he returned, as he’d never had any issues previously. But exhaustion should not have been an excuse. Now he would have to rely on the chick, and that was not something he wanted to do. But at least if she decided to punch him in the face again, he knew that she would end up patching him up. So, he had that going for him..Which was nice. But he hated being indebt. Especially when it was avoidable.
