PERSONALITY Qën is an honest and curious creature. In his natural form, he can often be caught meandering far outside his - or any Ursa's - territory, solely for the purpose of sight-seeing and interacting with those he normally would not come across. Like his parents, he is also kind whenever possible; though, as his species tends to be, he may snap if pushed too far. It has only happened once so far in his lifetime, and he does not plan to visit the emotion again.[break][break]
His thick coat allows him to live comfortably in the mild seasons, hate life wholly and completely during the hot season, and survive in an okay fashion when it is cold. He has found the hot season is slightly more tolerable in the guise of a human, but it is still far beyond his comfort zone. [break][break]
HISTORY Qën grew up with a brother and two sisters, their parents were the kind, gentle type - as most Ursas are. Qën was taught that all life was precious, and those things that were not understood were not to be feared, but studied. Thus, his propensity for exploring well outside the Ursa territory began at a young age, chatting up the local wildlife and, sometimes, those beyond. Because of this, he became fairly well-versed in the many languages across the planet.. Until the humans arrived. Their clipped tongues proved challenging for Qën, but it only caused him to push further to understand them. He even followed them north when the hot season hit, when the rest of his family went south as they normally do.[break][break]
It was during this time that he changed to look more like them, knowing a lone Ursa would be swiftly hunted and killed. Copying one of them to do so constantly wars with his conscience, but he tells himself his cause is just. He tried to interact a few times, but found he was unable to move his mouth in the way the humans did. His words came out slurred or not at all, and so he now remains quiet whenever possible. When he is alone, however, he practices - he is determined to get the hang of it, someday.[break][break]
DISTINGUISHING MARKS A raised scar over his left shoulder blade, from a spear a Hunter threw at him when the humans first arrived. This appears as a line of white fur in his natural form. [break][break]
