they call me a menace they say that i'm cursed f Colette wasn't the best chance at getting Farrah's arm into a proper sling, she probably would've up and left at the tampon comment. The girl was seriously bananas, reminding Farrah of an innocent version of Harley Quinn. She would be fun, but Benz doubted the girl would blow shit up with her, so their acquaintanceship would end with the sling... And the million-hour trip back to the mountains. The little jaunt down memory lane was definitely unnecessary, causing Farrah to eye the blonde once she was done tending to her arm. Her teeth were definitely a far cry from perfect. "I'm not even going to ask what the 4th dimension is," she chuckled under her breath, examining her new sling before pushing to a stand. "They're real," Farrah grimaced, shrugging her bum shoulder as if her injury explained everything. She didn't really care to go into detail, and the look she gave Zee said as much. Of course, her eyes slid to Logan afterward, a fresh wave of hatred burning in her eyes. If he hadn't been such a goddamned idiot about those caves, this never would've happened to her. Granted, if she hadn't been such a goddamned idiot and jumped on top of it, this also wouldn't have happened to her. Color flooded her cheeks and she looked away, thankful that the darkness would shade her thought process from the crowd. Logan's smile was... unnerving, and it took him just a second too long to divulge what he was thinking. It made her skin crawl and a pit form in her stomach while she braced for whatever backhanded comment he would make. ...if you ask nicely..Farrah's expression immediately changed. Her smile held enough acid to burn on contact, and her head weaved in a "oh don't you think you're so hilarious" sort of gesture. Thankfully, before she could either lunge at him or had to swallow her pride and actually ask nicely, Zee was taking the controller from her and tying it to the saddle. Farrah sighed quietly in relief. It was one thing to deal with Captain Douche one on one, but around company - especially with two girls who apparently found it so easy to brush off Logan's total dick remarks - made her uneasy. She was used to the way they treated each other. That's not to say she liked it, but she accepted it; having these girls completely unfazed by him made Farrah feel like she was in the wrong... And if there was one thing she loathed more than Logan, it was that. At Zee's sudden faux begging, Farrah struggled between snorting and vomiting in her mouth. Thankfully, she managed only a smirk, crossing her arms as best she could with one slinged. Her eyes flicked to Zee before landing on Logan. "If that's what you want, count me out," she said dryly, shaking her head. To Zee, she whispered, albeit loudly enough that Logan would definitely still be able to hear, "Thanks for making him obsolete. He needs knocked down a peg or two." In case he, by some odd chance, wasn't listening, she also stared at him. Straightening away from Zee, she smiled perfectly at the bane of her existence and turned away. "Ready to go, Colette?" she asked, trying to keep the urgency from her voice. They'd already wasted at least twenty minutes here, and Farrah could already feel the burn in her legs just thinking about how quickly they'd have to power walk to get back in time. Actually, scratch that - they'd probably have to straight-up jog most of the way. Farrah grimaced thinking of how the choppy movements would jostle her arm... The damn thing was definitely not going to heal perfectly. [googlefont=Bungee Outline]

Drop it Like it's Hot
Colette finished up the temporary sling on Zee's broken arm, while listening to the soap opera continuing. She didn't make any comment, other than sometimes a small shrug when Prince Charming aka Crocodile Dundee said something truly narcisstic and idiotic, to get a disdaining reply by Zee or Cinderella. Zee's sarcasm was perfect for putting this wannabe superhero and his ego to his place, while Farrah continued to act in a seemingly cold and antagonistic fashion towards this goon. The young Canadian was pretty much sure for some time now, that this was actually some sort of a final exam for the unsuspecting psych students, or some weird experiment, and expected that Zimbardo guy to show up from behind a bush in any minute, presenting her with a doctorate or a poodle dog as compensation for all the suffering.
Nevermind, she finished up the sling, while listening to the others converse about those giant worm thingies, which were actually real. This whole thing seemed so surreal, she actually had to slightly laugh when thinking about it. But then, she restrained herself, knowing this is no laughing matter. If they won't get back to the mountains quick enough, they could end up either burned to a crisp or eaten by some gargatuan-sized gagh.
"Alright, I'm finished.", she finally said, looking up to Farrah and Zee, both of them quite in a hurry to leave, and for very good reasons. She took one last glance at the sling, and turned to her reluctant patient, giving her an assuring doctor-to-patient smile she learned from doctors she worked with in the past, "It'll fit you well, hopefully." Then, standing up and packing up her medkit, she made herself ready to go. "It seems my luck dragon is out of fuel tonight.", she confessed, now looking at Zee, "So, I hope you won't mind if I hitch a ride. We can play 'Identify the David Bowie outfits' on the way, it's an awesome game!", she grinned, then, trying not to make her travel-companions drop her off to some bottomless pit along the way, she smiled innocently, "Alright. I was just joking..."

| Zee definitely didn't want to believe that giant underground man eating worms were real, but the look on Farrah's face when she confirmed it washed away whatever shred of doubt she had. "okay." She said slowly. "So not only does the sun want to cook us, but are there giant leech looking birds flying around above, but there are also giant worms under us and they all want to eat us." Her lips pressed together into a thin line as she thought about it "Don't you just love this planet?" She said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. She almost asked if the giant worm was what had broken Farrah's arm, but then she reconsidered her question. If the worm was as big and aggressive aw Logan insinuated that it was why would it stop at just breaking them?
While Colette continued to tend to the other girl's arm, Zee busied herself with making sure that everything was snugly attached to her horse. It would be pretty inconvenient if everything suddenly fell off onto the ground and they had to waste time picking it up and putting it back. It was bad enough that they'd had to make the trip all the way out to the drop point and wait for a broken arm to be fixed up. Zee still thought that that probably could have waited until they got back to the mountains and were no longer under a time constraint, but she wasn't a medic.
"Oh, good." She breathed a sigh of relief when Colette announced that she was finished. "Let's get going, then." But she paused when Colette asked if she could hitch a ride. Zee bit her lower lip and looked from the medic to her horse, who already had nearly their entire haul strapped to his back. He was big and strong and could probably handle a rider, but...
"I dont' know." She admitted. "He's already got a lot on him and he just got out of cryo." Absentmindedly she rubbed her free hand along the horse's neck. "I think it would be better if we all walk." She glanced at Logan and Farrah then looked back at Colette. "Besides, I don't know how steady he is after the cryo, y'know. I'd feel terrible if he tripped and fell and you got hurt." Because Zee knew absolutely nothing about first aid. "Okay, let's go.," She said and began to lead the horse back to the mountains.

Oh Em Gee Look At My Nails… When Farrah mentioned he needed to be knocked down a peg and looked at him, he simply locked eyes with her and gave her a big grin, as if she was amusing him completely. Also, part of him knew the reaction would irk her enough. And when they finally finished with her medical care, which took a little longer than he liked, he was getting itchy to get going. Luckily Ella took the lead and began on her way with the horse, and he maneuvered himself so he was walking along side her.
His one hand shoved in his front pocket, and his other arm slinging over her shoulder gingerly in a casual stance, walking at her pace. Talking in a low voice, with the grin still on his lips; ”Y’know, I am starting to think you are the most sane person here. Which is saying quite a lot, since you know..you shot at me with your rifle.” A light laugh left his lips before he glanced back towards Farrah and Colette, the never stop talking girl. Part of him wondered how long before Farrah decided perhaps she was best to leave and walk by herself. Or rather, hobble along by herself. She probably would have already vanished if it wasn’t for the assistance with the Medic and Cinderella.

they call me a menace they say that i'm cursed he'd had very little problem with Colette until the girl mentioned riding the already-burdened horse, which even Zee wasn't doing. And Farrah, sprained ankle and all, hadn't made a single peep about taking advantage of the free ride, even though, in her opinion, she should be the one to hop on if anyone was going to. Zee handled it like a pro though, earning the girl a badge of respect from Farrah. The tripping bit caused Farrah to snort softly, and she shook her head. It was a legitimate concern, but it still came across funny to her since Colette probably barely topped a hundred pounds... And the mental image of her careening from the animal's back gave her a little bit of joy. It shouldn't, considering she had been kind enough to Farrah to put her arm in a better sling. But Farrah was a bitch, so... After the shit-eating grin Logan had given her, she was perfectly fine with him walking ahead with Zee, even though she kind of wanted to, so she wouldn't be stuck in the back with "Jaws 4D", as she'd called herself. Whatever, she could deal with it. "Were you a doctor back on Earth, too, or did you just fall into the profession once you got here?" she asked, more out of a need to be polite after wishing her ill than any real desire to converse. Drop it Like it's Hot
Colette finally finished the sling, making the group ready to leave. She was happy to have company, especially if they give her a lift back to the mountains, in exchange for the medical help she provided. She thought Crocodile Dundee was a pain in the arse with his narcisstic macho idiotism and Farrah was a bit rigid, not really open to anything else than playing Survivor Girl, and this whole soap opera going on between these two was ridiculous. But still, they were people, people to converse with, to have as company. Still a much much better company than those giant worms.
She raised an eyebrow, as Farrah actually asked her a legit question, something she was apparently curious about. "Well, I was studyiing psychology.", Colette told her, while she finished fixing the sling, and put everything back to her medkit, getting ready to leave. "Actually, I was doing my PhD, when this whole thing about Earth blowing up came about. So, I just ended up here.", she shrugged, "I've learned basic medicine at the uni, and used to help out in hospitals, so I thought it'd be natural for me to do the same here."
