Extreme ways are back again Extreme places I didn’t know The hand axe Bo had with her upon arrival had been a godsend. Who knew it had been so useful or in demand. Who knew just how many ways you could actually use an axe it wasn’t actually developed for. Still it would be nice to have just about any other tool to help out.
She had just arrived so Bo had little or really no hope or expectation that anything of hers was on this drop shipment. However she could hope. Building anything really was tricky at best when you only had access to a tool and a half. OK sure the axe in a pinch could be used as a hammer but it wasn’t safe. Nor could you do half a dozen other things with it.
Besides all that honestly, it was just nice to feel she was needed and the fact was, she could help out a lot with people carrying half a dozen number of things they had no way of moving around the camp. It was what she was good at so at least it was something.
Bo was rather surprised however as she approached the drop. One of the boxes had her name on it. She couldn’t help but jog the last few steps as she was overcome with curiosity as to what she received. Kneeling down she released the clamps on the container and peered inside. A large grin spreading on her face as she saw what was enclosed.
Reaching inside she ran her hands lovingly over the new tool she would be able to use. The mattock would be infinitely useful especially with the upcoming expansions and buildings they had planned. That was of course all before the mining got started. Then she’d have to fight to keep the thing.
Grinning she stood hoisting it up over her shoulder. She still had time so she decided to join the guards and watch for a bit. Way too curious for her own good about what the others may end up getting.

Another couple of weeks passed and another ship headed toward the drop point. Riley didn't really expect to have anything come in on this ship since she'd gotten her cigarettes on the last one, but she still made the walk from Exurbia to the Drop Point just in case any of her medical supplies happened to make it in. By the time she'd gotten there a crowd had already started to gather, which was typical every time a ship came in. People were far too eager to see if any of their belongings came in or if any family members or friends had successfully escaped Earth and finally made it to their new home.
She didn't have to look for long when she finally pushed her way to the front of the gathered crowd. Her german shepherd's bright orange crate stood out against the metal ship behind it and the sand. She'd chosen that crate particularly because she felt it would be easy for her to spot among everyone else's belongings, and because she thought that it would be best for the dog to be put in the crate when he was taken out of cryo.
She was grinning as she made her way to the crate and she crouched down to peer inside of it. "Hey Sam." She cooed softly to the groggy dog. She undid the latch that kept the front of the crate closed and she reached inside and scratched her dog's ears. It had been far too long since she'd had him with her and she couldn't seem to hide how happy finally having him there on PE with her made her feel.

As she made her way to the drop point, Eloise waved and smiled at the people she knew that she passed. Some of them were going the same direction as her, others were walking back to civilization. Many looked dejected and irritated. Obviously that had not received anything. [break][break] As she approached, Eloise noted that crowd of people - as there always was. Murmuring ‘excuse me,’ Eloise finally made her way to the front and gazed upon the pile of stuff. And there was her crate. The one with all the bricks. She actually clapped a hand over her mouth she was so surprised and began moving towards the crate. As she did so, she spotted a dog crate and suddenly wished she too, had thought to bring her dog with her. [break][break] As she approached the crate, Eloise took note of the other things that had landed in the drop. Then her attention shifted to her own things - and she pondered how exactly she was going to get this pile of bricks back to her residence. [break][break] [attr="class","petitnotes"]

[attr="class","template2-table"] [attr="class","template2-container"] [attr="class","template2-content"] Livia had gathered early, in fact she was one of the first ones there. She was really, really hoping to have an item this time. If she had to pick, Livia was really hoping that it would be the pizza oven stuff. Sure, some grain would be nice but it would be useless without the pizza oven. This way, at least she could work on building the pizza oven while she waited for the rest of her things to get here.
It was too her great surprise that her pizza oven things actually did arrive! Thank you universe! Or God - or whatever higher power was floating around out there. Pushing past a few people who had oh so rudely walked in front of her, Livia made her way over to the crate which contained her items. She paused though when she saw the dog crate.
She really, really was missing Capone, and though she was pleased to have her pizza oven stuff she would have been just as happy if the drop had given her her dog instead. With a sigh, she proceeded to her crate and vowed that she would ask the dog’s owner if she could pet said dog just as soon as the opportunity presented itself. THE QUESTIONS TO ADDRESS
| [attr="class","hwayoungdia"] When Thea arrived at the drop point, she could tell that she had arrived later than most. Many possessions were already claimed or held dearly by some people she recognized from exurbia and some she did not. Others stayed in the periphery murmuring as they saw what items arrived and to whom they belonged. [break][break] As Thea strained her neck to find the list, something shiny caught her eye. No way. She darted past the spectators and gasped. In front of her stood the familiar wooden crate, but more importantly, she could see between panels the outline of her precious genie-lamp looking copper still and mash pot resting beneath it. Yes! Yes! Yes!!! This was the one package Thea cared about most in this universe. Inside were her tools of trade that she knew forwards and backwards and that she realistically could not ever recreate with a cleverly engineered PE-style replacement. How in the world of PE did she get this lucky? [break][break] Thea bent her knees and grunted while lifting up the heavy 4’ box. “No pain… No g(a)in.” she told herself. The contents clanked as she carefully took baby steps across the ground… and as she set them down 10 yards later. Thea pondered whether this actually was the best way to bring her dropped goods to exurbia. There was no one around that she knew well enough to ask for help, and she didn’t mind stepping up to the challenge. With that, the girl lifted the box again and continued her waddle back home.
